Air Pollution: A problematic of many cities

Day by day we are in a common space called earth, in this space we can share, learn and live but the difficult is when we don’t conscious about our role in the social dynamic, as main character that would be beneficiary or adversely affect for own acts. For this reason the ecological conscious has been consolidated like a style life, but unfortunately don´t all of us are in the same thinking, because the multinationals and large companies are indiscriminately destroyed our natural resources for make money whatever the cost. Our government has been permission without thinking in the consequences for the Colombian people. In this moment is worried the ecological situation for the illegal mining, mass production, the huge vehicles amount and the fracking, all that impairs the quality of life worldwide, the Colombia’s cities are not exception. Poverty in The city of Pasto, Pollution Factor. Audio: Here link     In my opinion, the factors of poverty in the city of Pasto, such as indigence, the growing number of displaced people, unemployment, difficult access to decent housing or efficient public services, contribute negatively to the environmental behavior of the city.  Each of these elements causes negative consequences for the ecological system prevailing in the city and also in the rural area. It is a trend that has been taking place historically but that has increased notably in recent times due to external factors, almost always related to the Colombian conflict, but in addition, the public sector has shown deep flaws in the management of all these elements, which has led to today suffering complex issues in environmental matters, such as the destination of wastewater, the final disposal of garbage, coverage in deeply social issues, such as education and health, to mention only a few elements. It’s called the Land of Opportunities and it’s the center of the government, the commerce and all the major activities. Chiquinquirá a destination with environmental pollution Audio: Here The municipality of Chiquinquirá is a destination that attracts many visitors for its title of religious capital of Colombia, however they present some contaminating factors such as lack of drinking water, air pollution generated by the emission, accumulation and mixing of pollutants in the air from industrial activity, packs of stray dogs after the dogs in heat, poverty and mishandling of garbage.  One of the environmental problems presented by the municipality of Chiquinquirá is the lack of potable water, the problem is the contamination of the Suárez River waters that come from the lagoon system of Fúquene, Cucunubá and Palacio, that contamination makes it almost impossible to purify it. The affected inhabitants have had to buy water in bags to bathe and cook. Some go in their private cars to neighboring municipalities to look for water and those who do not have how to travel, they do it on request. Many

Cundinamarca mining activity Audio: Here Cundinamarca is a department that has located the Colombia center, this has 116 cities and towns, the most important is our country capital Bogota. Between the main characteristics in this department there are natural diversity and resources for the climate. In the rural area the main economic activity is the agriculture and livestock. However these activities have been moving down for the mining activity whereby the gain increased and the contamination too. In this moment there are alarm because have been conferred mining titles in moorlands, places where the water is born.
